Dating back to the first half of the 13th century, the castle was conquered several times despite its strategic location. One remarkable remnant of the now-vanished Upper Rožmberk Castle is the Jakobínka Tower, from which you can enjoy a stunning view of the castle grounds and the surrounding landscape. There is also a special tour designed for children, set in the unique environment of the castle kitchen, showcasing the menu of young nobles. Meanwhile, adults can enjoy well-deserved relaxation in the beautiful castle gardens.
