A Unique Performance for Ballet Lovers – Má Vltava by the Bubeníček Brothers at Veltrusy Chateau
On the occasion of International Dance Day, we warmly invite you to a special summer performance of My Vltava by the Bubeníček brothers, taking place on July 13 in the grounds of Veltrusy Chateau.
Leading European soloists will first perform excerpts from classical ballets, as well as two original choreographies by Jiří Bubeníček. In the second part of the evening, three scenes from Bedřich Smetana’s ballet Má vlast (My Country) will be performed – specifically the sections Šárka, Tábor, and Vltava.
This exceptional project unites the power of dance, rhythm, and music, offering a unique interpretation of Smetana’s iconic musical themes. The choreography by the Bubeníček brothers and their guests promises an evening full of emotion, beauty, and expressive movement – a performance that will captivate not only ballet lovers but anyone seeking a unique open-air cultural experience.
